Team, the 2022 midterm elections made it clear that, in states where the NDRC’s grassroots movement has helped secure fair maps, Democrats can win tough races.

Minnesota: Democrats flipped the state senate and took full control of state government for the first time since 2014.

Pennsylvania: Democrats flipped the state house for the first time in over a decade.

Michigan: Democrats flipped the state house AND state senate – securing a Democratic trifecta for the first time in almost 40 years!

But while our grassroots movement helped secure fair maps in states like Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Michigan, and more, maps in too many other states like Florida, Ohio, Texas, and too many others, are still gerrymandered. That’s why our work must continue.
