After Chris wrote yesterday, DOZENS of supporters jumped in to help us close in on our end-of-week fundraising goal, so I wanted to share our progress and a bit of news.
We still have $2,160 left to raise before midnight, but perhaps more importantly WMUR reported yesterday that Chris's new opponent raised $100,000 during day one of his campaign! This just goes to show how important it is that we meet all our fundraising goals.
Chris goes to Washington to fight for us -- and with national Republicans eyeing this seat, we need to have his back. Heaps of outside dollars will get dumped into our district, so it’s up to us to grow our resources so we can go toe-to-toe with the corporate PACs trying to buy this race.
This seat has flipped four times in the last five elections, but Chris made history in 2018. If can win this seat in 2020, he’ll make history again by becoming the first incumbent (of either party!) to win re-election in NH's First District since 2008!
Chris is counting on you to help us finish this week strong, and I know how much your support means to him. Please. Will you pitch in $25, $50, or whatever you can today?
Thank you so much,
Meagan
