Folks, I have bad news: I broke one of my New Year’s resolutions. I’ll explain how but first, I need to ask: Can you chip in $10 to help my team reach our end-of-month goal for January?

I wanted to go this month without having to coordinate an end-of-month fundraising push, but it looks like that was too optimistic. After reviewing numbers with my Finance Director, I can tell you that this end-of-month goal couldn’t have come at a better time.

January was a difficult month for nearly every campaign’s fundraising. So many of us were busy with the new year that it put fighting back against the Republican House Majority at the back of so many folks’ minds. (Believe me when I say I’m jealous!)

But now that we’re back in the swing of things, one thing has become clear: there is no more time to waste.

As campaigns for 2024 begin to launch across the country, my team and I are gearing up for the far-right candidate the GOP will run against me. It’s going to take the full strength of this grassroots team to help protect this swing district.

And listen, Republicans have already begun their continued assault on reproductive freedom. Next on their chopping block: Social Security, Medicare, and LGBTQ+ protections.

My end-of-month goal for January helps defend our battleground district and take on the far-right Republican House Majority. So, I’m asking personally: Will you chip in $10 or more to help me reach my $8,000 goal for January?
