Sierra Club is excited to announce a totally new adventure for 2020! This June, only 12 people will have the opportunity to experience Summit County, Colorado in an exciting and unique way. You’ll spend time working on a service project with Friends of Dillon Ranger District (FDRD), a volunteer driven organization that works to maintain and protect National Forest lands. In addition to protecting our planet with FDRD, you’ll enjoy and explore the area by stand-up paddleboard (SUP), sleeping under the stars, and hiking in beautiful Colorado. Are you in?
Here’s how it works:
Register for your spot and commit to raising $2,300 for Sierra Club’s environmental initiatives;
Customize your fundraising page, use our tools to create your fundraising plan, and send your page to family and friends so they can donate on your behalf;
Spend June 25-28 in Colorado, working on a preservation project and enjoying one of the country’s most beautiful and pristine areas.
Beyond doing hands-on service to give back, the money that you raise will not only cover your trip cost, but will support Sierra Club initiatives to do things like retire dirty coal planets, make the outdoors more accessible, and commit cities to 100% renewable energy.
