Beginning April 1, 2023, the following new local taxes are administered by the Department of Revenue:  

• Carlton County Sales and Use Tax 0.5% (in addition to the Carlton County Transit Sales and Use Tax 0.5%)
• Edina Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Grand Rapids Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Itasca County Sales and Use Tax 1.0%
• Maple Grove Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Moorhead Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Oakdale Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Staples Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Waite Park Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Warren Sales and Use Tax 0.5%
• Woodbury Lodging Tax 3%

Beginning April 1, 2023, the following local taxes are increasing:

• Cloquet Sales and Use Tax 1.0%
• Hermantown Sales and Use Tax 1.5%
