The Senate’s back in session so Jon’s back working in Washington — which means he’s already getting started making the new Congress work for folks like you, folks.

He started out by introducing two bills aimed at getting dark money out of our politics by overturning Citizens United and requiring more transparency around big-dollar donors. It’s a way to hold politicians accountable and make government work for the people, not big corporations.

He’s also staying on top of veterans’ issues, calling for an investigation into alarming rates of cancer from Montana’s Malmstrom Air Force Base and pushing legislation to fix disability and retirement pay for our veterans.

The work never stops, as there’s always more to be done — but Jon always tells us what an honor it is to have a job like this one, where he gets to work every day to make life easier for Montanans and working families everywhere.

But we need your help to sustain this work, team. Many of Jon’s colleagues are forced to use what little time they have making fundraising calls. It takes a lot of resources to defend a Senate majority. But Jon prefers spending his time fighting for working families, not on the phone dialing for donations. That’s where we need your help.

We’ve seen how this team comes together to support him. Jon doesn’t have shady special interests backing him (rightfully so!), so he needs grassroots support to power his work. Can you show your support with a grassroots contribution of any amount today?
