Piikuni Lands Corps Builds Connections and Skills

The Piikuni Lands Service Corps, a group of Blackfeet youth and adults engaged in paid conservation work, was back in action this summer.

We caught up with them as they worked to secure traditional foods for their community, rebuild trails, and set the stage for conservation careers.

We're thrilled to have the Piikuni Lands Service Corps as partners, something donor support makes possible!

Help Glacier
All Year Long

Guardians of Glacier are our monthly donors. Becoming a Guardian is one of the best ways to support Glacier all year long and protect the wildlife, wilderness, and wonder of Glacier!

We're proud to announce Icelantic Skis as one of our newest partners!
Here's why they support GNPC:

"Icelantic is proud to partner with the Glacier National Park Conservancy, donating 10% of the Glacier Nomad and Maiden ski sales, to help preserve one of the most breathtaking places on earth. #ReturnToNature is at the core of everything we do at Icelantic, and we hope that through partnerships like these we can honor and commit to preserving the National Parks."

To inaugurate this partnership, Icelantic is generously giving away a pair of Glacier Nomad or Maiden skis to one of our supporters!

The program is coordinated by the Crown of the Continent Research Learning Center (CCRLC), based in Glacier, and made possible by the generous supporters of the Glacier National Park Conservancy. Jami Belt, Biologist and Citizen Science Program Manager, will present highlights of what we have learned from Citizen Science efforts since the program began over a decade ago, what is happening in 2023 and how you can help the park by becoming a citizen scientist.

MARCH

March 15:
Glacier Book Club featuring First Rangers

Join a discussion with editor Will Harmon and researcher Ann Fagre about the book, First Rangers. A special breed of adventurer, the first forest rangers were among the explorers, mountain men, lawmen, and pioneers who made America. First Rangers details the exploits of two of these men, told mostly in their own words. Written in the saddle while riding along the trail, or on a log at camp, or at a table in a dimly lit cabin, these stories bring to life a bygone era.
