BJS Director Alexis R. Piquero, PhD, and BJS statisticians Amy Lauger, Rich Kluckow, Ann Carson, Laura Maruschak, Emily Buehler, and Michael Field will participate in the annual American Correctional Association Winter Conference, January 27?31, in Orlando, Florida. BJS statisticians will host a workshop on PREA, COVID-19, and Maternal Health: New Findings and Data Collection Efforts from the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Also, BJS hosts a workshop on newly released findings on substantiated incidents of sexual victimization reported by adult correctional authorities. BJS statisticians and RTI International staff will discuss the National Inmate Survey (NIS) and demonstrate use of the survey instrument at BJS?s exhibit booth.
