John, I'm at the airport just leaving Texas and I want to share with you the excitement on the ground here in the Lone Star State and the progress we have made!

In true No Dem Left Behind style, we went off the beaten path to meet with some of the best rural activists and partners in the small communities and ranches to talk the X's and O's of defeating Ted Cruz and flipping Texas blue.

(I wasn't about to quibble over this meeting location.)

Look, there is real opportunity in Texas. And the gameplan that is going to work there is the No Dem Left Behind strategy. We're building an all-star coalition of local grassroots organizations that have proven they can turn out voters and we're connecting them together in a unified effort to compound those local victories into statewide success.

And here's my takeaway: we can flip some Congressional Districts, we can swing that 2.6% margin that Cruz won by last time and we can put Texas into play for a potential electoral college win.

John, you know what that means. We're talking about changing the face of Presidential elections for years to come. Winning Texas changes EVERYTHING.

But the other takeaway is this is a lot of work and it only succeeds as a team effort - and that's where we need serious help.

I'm asking you today to chip in what you can to build this movement across the state of Texas so we have the infrastructure by which Democrats can compete and win. Can I count on your support?
