I'm no stranger to tough races, John.

In my last two elections, I defeated my Republican opponent by three points or less. Election experts at Cook Political Report and Sabato's Crystal Ball predicted PA-08 would "Lean Republican" in their final race ratings last year.

But thanks to your support, I was one of just five Democrats in the country to win a House seat in a district that Donald Trump carried in 2020.

It's clear: Pennsylvania's 8th District is a purple district. That means we can expect Republicans to once again target me to expand their narrow majority in 2024. That's why we need to lay the groundwork now to ensure we build another campaign capable of taking on Republican attacks and spending.

Since coming to office, I've worked across the aisle to get things done for the hardworking people of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
