Dear Friend,

In the last year alone, beekeepers lost 39% of their colonies — a mass death linked to insecticides.

So Earthjustice went to court, and we forced the Environmental Protection Agency to reconsider its approval of the bee-killing pesticide sulfoxaflor.

The EPA has 144 days left to make a new decision about the use of this deadly pesticide. Earthjustice is organizing advocacy and fighting in court to end this toxic pesticide’s use for good.

Friend, multi-year legal battles like this are why we need monthly donations to power our work. Without a steady, reliable stream of monthly donations, we would not be able to commit to the years and decades-long legal battles that are required to protect our planet and fight climate change.

Please join our movement as a monthly donor — even a donation of $5 to $20 helps us continue to win hundreds of legal battles to protect the earth.

If you can, please give before the end of the month. The family of Margaret Chase Dreyfous has made a commitment to honor her legacy and encourage sustained giving. If 200 supporters sign up to give monthly, we’ll unlock an additional $55,000 in funding.

Bees are essential pollinators – they are necessary for hundreds of plant species to thrive. Without them, entire ecosystems and 1/3 of the foods we eat would be in danger.

But bees have inherent value in addition to being critical to our food supply. And the same is true for hundreds of other species that Earthjustice is fighting to protect.

We are engaged in dozens of lawsuits, legal actions, and advocacy efforts in order to stem the tide of the biodiversity crisis. We are banning pesticides, safeguarding critical habitats, thwarting oil and gas drilling, and strengthening the Endangered Species Act.

The environment is a vast, interconnected web of life. So our work must also be vast and interconnected. Our 200+ lawyers have won over 1,000 cases already, and they represent our clients for free thanks to reliable support from our donors.

Can you join us as a monthly donor and become a critical partner in our movement to protect the planet?
