I also hope you will take a moment today to remember the troops risking their lives from responding to this emergency across the country right now this winter and to thank them for their courageous service.

From Maine to Missouri, our troops are up against a long and frigid winter filled with untold challenges. That's why it could not be more important to send a little warmth and gratitude their way.

But we’re running out of time to fill this thank-you card with at least 50,000 signatures via email and text message before our midnight goal deadline, and we're still missing your name: Please, before tomorrow's midnight deadline, will you sign the card to show our troops how much you appreciate their service and sacrifice?
