Feed Israel is Here to Help

Dear subscriber,
Tomorrow is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which honors 6 million Jews and millions of other victims who lost their lives in the genocide of the Second World War. Some of those who went through this tragedy firsthand are still able to tell their story.
Despite their hardships in those tragic events, many of the 45,000 holocaust survivors living in Israel are struggling profusely. Recent data from the National Insurance Institute showed that 22.1% of the Israeli population is living in poverty, including 32.4% of the country’s elderly (about one in three). These statistics have gotten significantly worse in a declining economy.

We at Feed Israel Foundation are on a mission to help stand with the people of Israel. Our programs are focused on helping those who suffer the most by providing them with food, resources, and education to get through these difficult times.
With cold winter weather onset, we initiated a distribution of Winter Packages with the help of our wonderful volunteers in Jerusalem, Haifa, Nazareth, Ashdod, Petach Tikvah, Hedera and others.
|
We were able to help a lot of people in despair this season, but there are many more that will be left cold and hungry this winter. Join us in our mission to help the people of Israel this winter.

It's crucial to support Israel during these difficult times. When you make a donation, you are helping struggling Israelis and their families during these difficult times.

We support Israel by providing immediate humanitarian relief to those in need and by creating positive long-term change through educational programs and legislation. Our ultimate vision is to end hunger in Israel. We strive to enable individuals to break out of the cycle of poverty by giving them the tools to become self-sufficient so they can live more dignified lives.
