From starting the year with the Russia-Ukraine international armed conflict to floods in Palestine, there as been an increase in suffering. People in Afghanistan sought to move forward with their lives, while a new day in Somalia still brought huge hunger and health needs.
A mother in Gaza got a chance to meet her son in his place of detention after ages, a sign that hope can still exist. In Peru, families were able to give dignified burials to their missing loved ones, finally saying their goodbyes. Meanwhile, shepherds in Azerbaijan attended sessions on risks related to weapons, learning safer behaviour and creating awareness.
