This past Christmas was one of the coldest on record, and that was just the beginning of winter. As we stock up and build our fires here at home, we cannot forget the troops risking their lives in some of the world's coldest, most remote places. And as the National Guard has been activated to help weather the storm approaching much of the country, we cannot forget the troops risking their lives on the home front as well — all to keep us safe.

That's why we're asking via email and SMS for at least 50,000 military supporters to sign the card for our troops before tomorrow’s goal deadline showing our troops that folks back home appreciate them is the least we can do, and we are counting on you to show your appreciation today:

We don't know what challenges this winter will bring for our troops, from more weather emergencies at home to additional needs in Eastern Europe due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. But we do know our troops are going to be there to defend our country no matter what — and it's up to us to thank them for their courageous service.
