Folks,

We’re back at work in the Democrat-held Senate to fight for workers and families.

Meanwhile, House Republicans have passed anti-abortion measures and pitched a 30% national sales tax on everyday expenses like gas and groceries. Talk about out of touch.

It’s our job as leaders to address the issues on the minds of New Mexicans and folks across the country, from the lack of affordable housing to improving public safety. Yet Republicans are focused on putting more obstacles in Americans’ way.

That’s the kind of future Republicans will enact if they win back the Senate and the White House next year. In fact, Mitch McConnell’s Republican allies have already started launching attack ads against vulnerable Senate Democrats.

We need to start preparing now to defend 23 Senate seats — including mine in New Mexico. That’s why it’s so important my campaign meets our first end-of-month goal of the year. Can you pitch in $10 to power our work to defend the Senate majority so we can continue delivering results for folks in New Mexico and across the country?

Here in New Mexico, we can create a future that is as boundless as our skies, as majestic as our mesas, and as welcoming as our communities. There’s no stopping us when we work together.
