*LCB Action: Cloud Storage for LCB Licensees - Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR 101) Filed*
On January 25, 2023, during a Board meeting that had been continued from January 18, 2023 (due to technical issues and per RCW 42.30.100 [ [link removed] ]), the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) took the following action:
*New rulemaking initiated*
"The Board approved a Preproposal Statement of Inquiry (CR 101) "to consider amending, repealing, and/or creating rule sections in Title 314 WAC necessary to allow cannabis, vapor, tobacco, and liquor licensees to use cloud storage options instead of physical, on-premises storage for recordkeeping.
