Hey John –

Tired of corrupt elites buying your elections and rigging your government?

We are too.

That’s why we’re partnering with campaigns in cities and states across the
country to win pro-voter, anti-corruption victories in 2023. We know that
the path to getting government working for the people again starts with
local action.

We want you to know right away what we're seeing on the ground. Here’s a
preview of some of the places we’re mobilizing our resources:

In Maine, we're working to pass permanent absentee voting, expand the
number of municipalities that have opted in to local RCV (Ranked Choice
Voting), and pass campaign finance reform in the state legislature. By
passing RCV, voters will have better choices at the ballot box and
better representation in government. This is a battle between Mainers
and wealthy foreign money.

In Arizona we're working on two fronts this year. For starters, we are
working with a bipartisan group of legislators, as well as the Governor
and Secretary of State to craft consensus, bipartisan election reform
legislation. We're also working with Save Democracy Arizona and Voter
Choice Arizona to bring Final Five voting to the state. This is the same
system that proved successful in Alaska. These two crucial election
reforms are part of a bi-partisan foundation of proposals we're putting
to the legislature and Governor Hobbs' Administration.

And in Virginia, we're working on a package of bills that will set
campaign contribution limits, increase disclosure requirements for
candidates, and expand local RCV to include local options like school
board races. This package of bills will create a truly representative
government at all levels in Virginia, and give voters the information
and tools to hold politicians accountable once they’re there.

campaigns? Make your most generous gift now to get these campaigns off the
ground.

This is just the beginning. We have several more campaigns in their
planning stages that we cannot wait to tell you about as soon as we can!

Here's a little intel on how we show up for these campaigns with our
partners:

We work directly with on-the-ground organizers and campaigns to provide
strategic support, help coordinate local press, and get RepresentUs
community members like you plugged into these campaigns through calls,
petitions, and volunteer shifts.

We use our unique non-partisan political expertise and the people-power of
our supporters – conservatives, progressives, and everyone in between – to
help these campaigns win.

No tricks or gimmicks here. Just courage and honest, hard work.

(Ok and more than a little bit of smarts and experience too 💅)

Why am I telling you all this? Because in a time where big donors and
special interest groups with money and influence get all the access they
want, you should get to know just how all this works too.

You shouldn't have to be a millionaire to make a difference.

[ [link removed] ]Make a contribution to jump-start the first phase of our campaigns.

We'll keep you in the know as often as we can and give you lots of
opportunities to take actions that matter.

See you out there.
