It's hard to organize young people without...well...young people! This has been a key component of Advocates for Youth for some time, and our HIV organizing is no different.

Applications are due THIS SUNDAY for two major programs we have where we pay young people to work across campuses and communities throughout the U.S.
 
Accepted applicants will share factual sexual health information, organize actions to address the impact of HIV/AIDS on youth, and create community spaces for healing and reflection.

NYHAAD Collective, engaging young people in ending the HIV & AIDS epidemic

• We are looking for 50 young people (ages 13-24, of any gender) to train in HIV policy and community engagement. Collective members will promote a message of prevention, treatment, care and youth empowerment, centering young people’s voices and their experiences. Apply for this paid program here.

CommuniTEA, a new project to engage Black women & girls in ending the HIV & AIDS epidemic

• We are looking for 10 young Black women and girls (trans or cis) to train in HIV and community engagement. They will become part of a network of young activists in the reproductive justice movement. Apply for this paid program here.
