The truth is that the road to keeping this seat blue isn’t going to be easy. During the 2022 midterms here in New York, Republicans won more races across the state than they have in two decades — enough to deliver the House majority back to the GOP. But I’ve never backed down from a challenge. My very first race for Congress was in a Republican district where people said that there were “more cows than Democrats.” I still ran, and we won.
