Winter is a perfect time for beginner bird photographers to get out and practice on the beautiful visiting ducks in our region. Join us for a great webinar next Thursday, February 2, to learn to identify 18+ species of ducks and other waterfowl you can see in Northern Virginia, and practice your new skills in the field on our field trip, Saturday, February 4.

Help us protect these beautiful birds by participating in our upcoming Winter Waterfowl Count on February 11-12.

Need some advice to capture the perfect shot? Join Matt Felperin’s bird photography workshop on Tuesday, Feb 21. Submit your favorite shots to the National Audubon Photo Contest by March 1.
