At the same time Kevin McCarthy is kicking NewDems off of the House Intelligence Committee for baseless political reasons, he’s giving critical committee assignments to George Santos and Marjorie Taylor Greene – two members who were loyal to him during the 15 votes it took to elect him Speaker. McCarthy doesn’t care about passing bills that help the American people – he only cares about doing the bidding of his political allies, fanning the flames of political division, and sabotaging Democrats’ critical work to hold President Trump and other bad actors accountable.
