When I ended my campaign for president, I told you that I wasn’t done fighting.
To build a nation where everyone can reach their dreams, we can’t afford to leave a single person on the sidelines—and that includes in my home state of Texas.
This year we have the chance to turn Texas blue, flip key districts across the state, and ensure more people in our state have the opportunities they need to live a prosperous life.
That’s why I couldn’t be more proud to support Dr. Eliz Markowitz in her special election for House District 28—and to join her THIS Saturday at a canvass in Katy, Texas to help get out the vote ahead of the January 28th special election.

Dr. Markowitz has spent her career fighting for a more efficient health care system and and a more fair school system. She’s running to ensure that all Texans, no matter their income or background, can get a good education, quality health care, and can live safely in their communities.
This special election is our first chance to flip a Texas House seat ahead of the November elections. We can send a message that our state has had enough of Republican attempts to strip health care from our residents or undermine our children’s schools.
It’s time to say once and for all that Texas can be a blue state, starting with our state house--but we need your help.
