Hi John,

As your Representative, it has been my priority to support our children and families, protect our workers, and preserve our democracy.

As your Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, I'm adding one more priority to the list: Win back the Democratic majority.

John, before I go further, can I count on your support to help me in this fight?

Now that we have a Congress, it's time to get to work. But how did Kevin McCarthy secure his win? By allegedly promising the extreme Republican right to vote on legislation to scrap the American tax code and replace it with a 30% national sales tax.

What does this mean? The average price of eggs rose 60% last year – now add on 30% . Just signed a new lease? Tack on 30% in taxes every month to your rent.

Being in public service means we should serve our communities, not make everyday life harder and that's exactly what the Republicans are on track to do if we don't take back our majority.

We have a majority in the Senate and the White House, but it's time we take back the House from these extremists – can I count on you to chip in now?
