John, in a sign of what's to come with the Republican lead,
House Speaker McCarthy rejected the appointments of Adam Schiff and Eric
Swalwell to the House Intelligence Committee.

continue to support the insurrection? From the people who fundamentally
deny science in favor of crazy conspiracy theories? From the MAGA faction
who cave to Trump's every whim?

Kevin McCarthy has just denied the appointments of quite possibly the two
most qualified and intelligent members of Congress to the House
Intelligence Committee - in favor of cherry-picking his MAGA pals who
blackmailed him into their good graces in payment for Speakership!

John, we knew MAGA-Republicans seizing House control was going
to be bad but the mockery they've made of our government shy of their
first month in power is nothing short of an epic debacle.

Taking back the House is imperative. We can't allow critical positions of
power such as our intelligence and homeland security to be filled by the
likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene.
