Jim Jordan, who took over my position as Chair of the Judiciary Committee when Republicans took control of the House, will run a special subcommittee that will allow him to do Donald Trump's dirty work, promote deranged right-wing conspiracy theories, intimidate businesses he doesn't like, and prohibit attempts to stop white nationalist Domestic terrorism.
This means having a blank check to demonize the January 6th committee and Department of Justice investigations into Donald Trump's criminal behavior.
Here's the bottom line: Jim Jordan should be under investigation for his role in the January 6th coup attempt, not running a new committee modeled closely after Joseph McCarthy's infamous House Un-American Activities Committee.
