John, 2022 was an absolute rollercoaster of a year:

FIRST: I took the biggest risk of my life and ran for Congress at just 28 years old. Right-wing super PACs and cryptocurrency billionaires were so threatened by a young, progressive, Muslim woman that they spent over $3.6 million to defeat me.

THEN: After years of struggling with infertility, my amazing husband Towqir and I brought an amazing child into the world: our beautiful daughter Aaliyah – whose future is at stake with everything this team is fighting to achieve.

NOW: With Brighter Future PAC, I am continuing the fight we started by supporting diverse, progressive candidates up and down the ballot – including Rep-elect Diamond Staton-Williams, Rep. Marcia Morey, and so many others.
