Over the last several months, we've watched state after state pass extreme and outrageous anti-choice laws. From laws that ban abortion before many women even know they're pregnant to laws making abortion illegal, even in the case of rape or incest. I've been appalled and outraged by these far-right laws passed in legislatures across the country. And know I'm not alone here. But right now, the attacks on women's reproductive freedom have just escalated - and I am getting extremely worried.

Just this month, nearly 80% of congressional Republicans - including 39 Senate Republicans - signed on to an amicus brief asking the Supreme Court to uphold an anti-choice Louisiana law that would severely restrict access to an abortion. If the Supreme Court upholds this law, it would leave the entire state with just a single abortion clinic. On its face, this law is alarming. But why this really has me worried is that it's the first time the Supreme Court will hear a case on abortion rights since far-right SCOTUS justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch were confirmed to lifetime appointments.

Let me be clear - and this is not an exaggeration - Roe v. Wade has never been in more danger than it is right now with Kavanaugh and Gorsuch on the bench. That's why I need this grassroots team to join me in sending a clear message by signing this petition demanding that Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump protect women's reproductive freedom before our 11:59 p.m. deadline!

The right-wing GOP has been relentless and truly desperate in their attempts to roll back a woman's right to choose for decades now. And it's only gotten worse since Mitch McConnell became majority leader - and Donald Trump became the president. Their attacks on women's reproductive freedom have only grown bolder and more extreme. And with their right-wing court-packing agenda, benches across the country are being filled with far-right judges who will push their anti-choice agenda forward even more.

That's why I need you to join me right now and take action - before the Supreme Court rules and it's too late! Can I count on you to join me to tell Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump we will fight tooth and nail to protect a woman's right to choose?

I know we're all sick and tired of having to defend against these outrageous attacks and policies on women's reproductive freedom from GOP extremists, but we cannot let up. We cannot let them reverse what should be a basic right for women.
