About the Program
What are the most pressing issues the legislature should address in the next session? Legislative leaders—Toni G. Atkins, President pro Tempore of the California State Senate, and Brian Jones, California State Senate Minority Leader—will talk about their priorities and why these issues are important to California’s future.
PPIC’s Speaker Series on California’s Future invites thought leaders and changemakers with diverse perspectives to participate critically, constructively, and collaboratively in public conversations. The purpose is to give Californians a better understanding of how our leaders are addressing the challenges facing our state.
