For years now, gun violence has torn communities apart.
Friend,
Yesterday, tragedy struck again in California when a gunman took the lives of seven people. My heart is with the families and friends who lost their loved ones in Half Moon Bay and Monterey Park. Lunar New Year is a time to celebrate new beginnings. Instead, it’s been marred with tragedy.
Despite having the strictest gun safety measures in the country, Californians have suffered two mass shootings in three days. 18 innocent Americans have died because we fail, over and over again, to address the epidemic of gun violence at a national level.
Enough is enough. Sign if you agree: Common-sense gun reform must be a top priority for Congress.
For years now, gun violence has torn communities apart. From schools to concerts, from movie theaters to grocery stores, mass shootings have occurred on a daily basis. Over 600 were reported in 2022 alone.
We can’t afford to go on like this. Americans want common-sense gun reform now, and Congress has a responsibility to address the rising death toll that lax gun legislation and inaction have created.
Tell Congress: Address common-sense gun reform immediately.
In solidarity,
Ro
