Today marks the one-year anniversary of our campaign launch. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished in the last year. Here are just a handful of our campaign highlights:

• Traveling more than 10,000 miles to the far reaches of Arizona’s First District to meet all of its diverse residents
• Inspiring more 1,600 people to donate to our campaign
• Frankie’s Law, a comprehensive immigration plan in memory of Frankie Madrid who was a victim of our dangerous immigration policies
• Standing alongside other activists to protest Trump’s aggression in Iran
• Securing support of fantastic progressive organizations like Brand New Congress, Peace Action, Progressive Democrats of America, and Blue America with more impressive endorsements coming soon
• Building a diverse campaign team and a strong volunteer base in every corner of the district

We’ve built an impressive campaign foundation. Now is the time to accelerate our growth and it can’t happen without you. We are serious, organized, focused and have the necessary expertise to succeed in this race.

We’re up against an incumbent who has a terrible record on progressive issues and is bankrolled by corporate PACs and special interests. When I’m in Congress, I will only answer to the people. That’s why I refuse to take any corporate PAC money.

We have a lot of work to do in Congress, and we need true advocates to get the job done. We’re the only truly progressive campaign in this race.
