A CLOSER LOOK—PBM Spread Pricing

The Prescription Drug Pricing Reduction Act was passed out of the Senate Finance Committee last week. Among other policies, the bill prohibits “spread pricing” by PBMs. A recent Health Affairs Blog post discussed PBM spread pricing in the context of Medicaid managed care.
