Dear Friend,

As we honor and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I am thinking of his wise words:

Dr. King wrote those famous words during his imprisonment at the Birmingham jail in Alabama. Even while sequestered in a jail cell Dr. King never gave up hope of an equal and equitable America.

We have that hope too, and fight every day to make it a reality—and we need your help. Please honor and remember Dr. King’s legacy by making a gift today

The National Urban League needs your support now more than ever as we work to transform the passion of the racial justice movement into lasting change. Your donation is a tribute to civil rights activists and especially to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

You have been a fervent friend to our organization—I cannot thank you enough for your support and generosity.

 With gratitude,

Marc H. Morial
President and Chief Executive Officer

P.S. If another goal is to get savvier with your giving this year, consider donating your stock to the National Urban League to save on two types of taxes while supporting economic empowerment.
