Friends,
Is your Congressional Representative a worthy role model for your children?
This is a question I have been asking myself while watching Matt Gaetz on TV.
My answer has been a hard no.
Let me tell you why:
I would like young children to emulate those who show respect for others. I would like older children to strive for a working career that’s built on foundations of integrity and commitment. I would like them to understand that the freedoms we enjoy require community service and fidelity to the ideals that define America. I would like them to stand tall for what’s right, even when doing so is hard.
Matt Gaetz’s conduct falls well short of these standards. We are better that that.
With your help, we will move forward, with honor.
