John – I've always fought for a strong middle class with good-paying jobs and lower costs. Here's why:

I grew up in a working-class family as the granddaughter of immigrants and the daughter of a World War II veteran. As the first in my family to graduate from college, I worked multiple jobs – including as a waitress at Caesars Palace – and took out student loans to make ends meet. I know a thing or two about what it means to roll up your sleeves and get to work.

Now, I'm humbled to serve Nevada in the U.S. Senate. And as a former union member myself, I'm honored to represent the hardworking families and union workers who have helped build our great state.

I'll never stop fighting for progress, but I need your help. I'm up for reelection, and experts at The Hill say I'm one of the GOP's top targets for defeat. So I can't keep Nevada blue without people like you by my side.
