I’m going to ask you to pitch in toward my campaign’s first end-of-month fundraising goal of the year. But first, let me take a few minutes to explain why your support matters so much.

I’ve never been one for political showmanship. I’ve focused on bringing people together to solve problems since day one.

I will never lose sight of my work in Congress to create jobs and invest in our economic and transportation infrastructure, our environment, and our institutions of higher education.

As you may have seen this past month, my Republican colleagues are wreaking havoc in the U.S. House of Representatives. From taking days to agree on a Speaker to passing legislation restricting the right to choose, their leadership is focused solely on inciting division.

That's why it's so important we stay on top of our fundraising to get a running start on our work to demonstrate our value of working in a unified manner to solve problems. And it’s only a matter of time before we go up again against spending from right-wing Super PACs and dark-money donors.
