According to the Wall Street Journal, House Republicans are champing at the bit to return to Washington today after last week's recess, because they're eager to do the "real work" of...investigating Hunter Biden.
That's right. Even as default on the National Debt remains terrifyingly possible in the coming months, The Journal is reporting that Top House Republicans are focused primarily on getting "banking records related to members of President Biden’s family," as well as on getting, (unrelatedly), "testimony from former Twitter executives."

John, as President Obama told us, elections have consequences. And the consequence of letting this GOP hold the House is sitting through sideshow after sideshow while they threaten America with catastrophic economic collapse.
