Hi John.

Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision at the Supreme Court of the United States -- a historic decision that guaranteed every women and young girl the right to control their own body.

Half a century later, our daughters and granddaughters are at risk of growing up with fewer rights than we had. Like so many folks throughout our community, I remain deeply concerned about the Supreme Court’s decision last year to overturn Roe v. Wade.

I believe a person's health care decisions are between them and their doctor, not politicians. I am a strong supporter of the Women’s Health Protection Act to help restore Roe v. Wade as the law of the land.

I know this is a deeply personal issue that can raise a lot of strong feelings. But regardless of where anyone stands, I know we can all start from a place of respect as we listen to each other.
