John,
This week should mark the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark case that protected reproductive rights for all Americans. But last June, the conservative-majority Supreme Court overturned the precedent set by Roe, returning the question of abortion access to the American people through state laws and U.S. Congress.
In their first weeks in the House majority, Republicans have already passed a bill designed to attack abortion providers and make reproductive healthcare more difficult to access – and it’s only a matter of time before they try to institute a total federal abortion ban.
I was proud to cast the first pro-choice vote in West Michigan history. For the first time in our district’s history, West Michigan women are represented by a woman who will always for their right to make their own healthcare decisions.
We must take back the House majority in the next election cycle so that women in West Michigan and across the country have the right to make their own healthcare decisions – without any say from politicians. Can I count on you to chip in $10 or more to my re-election campaign right away to ensure I can stay in Congress as a strong pro-choice advocate?

Thank you so much,
Hillary
