Today, Iowa Republicans are trying to ram through a bill that will give away money from our public school students to a handful of private schools. 

Vouchers are a scam that would give away money from local public schools to unregulated, unaccountable private schools. It would be like using taxpayer dollars to pave a road the people can't drive on or to build a private pool that we can't swim in.

That’s why I’m asking you today to add your name to our petition and show that you stand with Iowa students and parents in opposing this voucher scam.

Iowa students deserve a world class education regardless of where they live. Not “some” Iowa students — all Iowa students. 

We believe in every student, in every community, and will always give them the resources they need to succeed. If you’re with us, I hope you will sign our petition right away.
