Some people call radon a silent killer. That?s because it?s a naturally occurring radioactive gas that we can?t see, taste, or smell, and it?s the leading cause of lung cancer deaths among nonsmokers in the U.S. It?s responsible for about 21,000 U.S. deaths each year.
