We’re speechless, John.
A gunman opened fire on a Lunar New Year celebration in Monterey Park, California murdering ten people and injuring ten more.
What should have been a joyous celebration for Asian Americans of the Lunar New Year turned into a horrifying mass shooting.
As we mourn yet another mass shooting, our hearts go out to all who have been affected by this devastating tragedy.
Enough is enough. We must continue to fight to end this senseless violence that plagues our communities.
We just launched an emergency petition to DEMAND Congress pass critical gun safety legislation that will keep our communities safe. We urgently need 5,000 signatures to show McCarthy and House Republicans the public OVERWHELMINGLY supports common sense gun reform. Will you sign your name in the next 24 hours? >> [[link removed]]

We can’t overstate the urgency, John.
Our communities have faced over 11,500 incidents of anti-Asian hate since 2020.
And the tragedy in Monterey Park was the 33rd mass shooting of the year.
We are heartbroken. We are horrified. And we are outraged beyond belief.
AAPI communities deserve to celebrate together without fear of attacks. That’s why we need to stand up and demand regulations on the weapons that make this heinous violence possible. We launched an emergency petition to prove UNDENIABLE public support for common sense gun reform and we need 5,000 signatures in the next 24 hours to send McCarthy a message he can’t ignore. Will you sign your name right away to demand Congress pass gun safety legislation before any more communities are shattered by senseless violence? >> [[link removed]]
