I hate these emails as much as you do, folks, but I really have no choice at the moment. I had to reach out to you one last time.

There’s so much going on in Washington ( especially in the Senate! ), which means I have spent as little time as possible worrying about our fundraising numbers, but I just heard from the team — and it looks like we’re not on track to reach our very first fundraising goal of 2020 before midnight. That’s alarming.

We’ve got to hit our target to stay on track for the month, but I simply don’t have the time to do my job in the Senate and dial for dollars. So, I’m turning to you:

Can you pitch in before our first fundraising deadline of this critical election year at midnight? Anything you can give will allow me to stay focused on doing my job in the Senate, not fundraising. I would really appreciate anything you can give.
