Yesterday should have been the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade – but it wasn’t.

 

Without the protection of Roe, taking bold action on reproductive freedom and abortion care access is more important than ever.

 

Yesterday on social media, I saw a lot of reproductive justice advocates talking about how Roe was always the floor for reproductive freedom. 

 

We agree. 

 

That’s why we’re teaming up with Marylanders for Reproductive Choice this legislative session, boosting their efforts to enshrine reproductive freedom in the Maryland state constitution, protect patients, providers, and support networks from anti-choice litigation, strengthen data privacy protections for patients, and increase access to reproductive healthcare on state university campuses.
