Marjorie Taylor Greene, Paul Gosar, Scott Perry, and Lauren Boebert have all been appointed to the House Oversight Committee, where they’ll use their new positions to promote conspiracy theories and attack the administration with baseless investigations. You may recall that both Greene and Gosar were removed from their committees last Congress for advocating violence against Democrats.

Even George Santos — despite lying about everything — is being placed on the Committees for Small Business and for Science, Space, and Technology.

And there’s worse news. Even though they’ve only had the majority for a few weeks, the GOP is already hitting up their mega-donors to try to expand their numbers in 2024. We shudder to think what they’d do with an even larger majority.
