Last week, Republicans in Congress introduced legislation to cut taxes for corporations and billionaires and replace them with a national sales tax of 30%.
This means everything you purchase would be taxed at 30% – from groceries to gas.
With already rising costs, this sales tax would be detrimental to hardworking Northeastern Pennsylvanians. Republicans are continuing to look out for the ultra-wealthy, while working families pay the price.
