After the 2022 midterm elections, Attorney General Eric Holder said this: 'Democracy was on the line in this election – and the American people showed decisively that we’re not willing to let it go.'

He’s right! Thanks to this grassroots team, the NDRC helped elect Democracy Defenders and defeat election deniers across the country last November! (Nearly 300 Democracy Defenders elected and 7 Election Deniers defeated)

But A.G Holder also said this: 'Now is not the time to take our democracy for granted.' And he’s right about that, too. ❌ Far too many states still have gerrymandered maps, ❌ Republicans are attacking our fair maps, ❌ And the Supreme Court is still reviewing a critical case about the Voting Rights Act!

Continuing to defend our democracy may seem daunting. But we must remember what President Obama said: 'Our democracy is resilient as long as we stay engaged and active between elections.'
