PERKINS: New House Majority Attempts Debt-Defying Feat |

Will Rogers used to joke, "Alexander Hamilton started the Treasury Department with nothing - and sometimes I think that's the closest we've been to breaking even." Not many people saw the humor in that Thursday when the U.S. bumped its head on the debt ceiling, setting the stage for a titanic showdown over America's spending. While Uncle Sam has maxed out his credit cards for years, the government has never owed anything close to $31 trillion - a failure the new conservative House majority has zero intention of repeating. |

The comprehensive vision includes national and state legislation, changing a dark and life-denying entertainment culture, and personally serving needy mothers and vulnerable children with no one to care for them. |

On Sunday, Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled discuss "the fight for women across America to have access to reproductive care and make their own healthcare decisions." Well, three cheers - who could disagree with this? I trust every decent person supports sound reproductive care (i.e., prenatal care for mothers and their babies) and the right of women to "make their own healthcare decisions." But that's not what Harris means. |

In light of CVS and Walgreens's intentions to dispense the abortion pill after the Biden administration's January 3 unilateral decision to drastically expand access to the controversial drug to pharmacies and mail-order companies nationwide, a coalition of pro-life organizations led by Family Research Council (FRC) sent a letter to both chains Friday urging them to reverse course. |
