John,

We have breaking news in the case of a Christian who was sentenced to death for his faith.

Shahzad was just 16 years old when he was maliciously accused of blasphemy. TODAY, he sits on death row in Pakistan – sentenced to execution by hanging.

A radical Muslim sectarian group targeted him when he was just a boy and pressured the judge to have him executed. It's the ultimate human rights violation.

Our legal team on the ground in Pakistan is appealing Shahzad's case; we'll take it all the way to Pakistan's Supreme Court. We've already filed a case with the U.N. Working Group on Arbitrary Detention (which we've successfully utilized in the past to free persecuted Christians).

The U.N. Human Rights Council JUST announced that it opens TODAY for new submissions this session, and we will be filing a critical legal plea for Shahzad in just days. Now we need YOU to take urgent action with us.

UPDATE: ACLJ Files Plea for UN To Save Christian From Death.

Waqar, a Christian shop owner, was shot four times and paralyzed as his Muslim attackers shouted religious slurs at him. This kind of violent persecution is VERY REAL for Christians in Pakistan.

Our legal office in Pakistan has been helping Christians in over 100 cases. We're fighting in court to ensure that both of Waqar's attackers are prosecuted and are helping him obtain surgery to restore the use of his hand, even though he may never walk again.

Waqar's message for you is profound: "Keep doing what you are doing, and I pray that the Lord continues to use you to help people like me." That's exactly what we're doing.

Christian brothers Amoon and Qaiser Ayub have also been sentenced to hang for their faith. They were falsely accused and convicted without any real evidence against them.

Now these Christians will hang if we don't intervene. We've appealed the case to Pakistan's Supreme Court.

We've helped free Christians from death row in Pakistan before, but we can't do it without YOU. No one should be executed for their faith. "Help people like" the Ayub brothers. Take urgent action with us.
