Recent revelations about Twitter's efforts to censor Trump and other undesirables show elites at their worst, using any and all means necessary to impose their values on the rest of the country. But there’s no room for an established clergy in American politics or culture. We are too fractured and too multifarious. Indeed, imposing a faith from above will only invite disorder and revolt.
